At Argyle House School we are small enough to know and care for each child individually whilst also providing a broad and stimulating curriculum and environment in which your child can grow and be supported throughout until they are ready to go into the world and sample all it has to offer them.

Mrs L Mcintosh

Before teaching at Argyle House School I worked at several state comprehensive schools. This is the first school I have taught in where it is ‘cool’ to do well. Overall pupils here are a delight – they are polite, courteous, they want to learn and are keen to succeed.

Mrs Cahill

The small size of the senior school enables staff to know each student's individual strengths and weaknesses. A major strength of the school is pastoral care as the staff get to know pupils from an early age in the primary department through to the end of the senior school.

Mrs Watt

Argyle House School provides a broad curriculum in a friendly, safe environment for the pupils. All three sciences are taught separately and with enough depth to ensure pupils can carry their studies further if they wish. The emphasis is on practical work in the early years whilst in later years pupils are encouraged to develop their own ideas and investigations. The pupil’s attention and interest is engaged in the early years and this enables them to develop their full potential.

Mr Davies

Having taught at Argyle House School for over 30 years, I have witnessed many changes. These have included a broader curriculum and improved facilities yet at its heart it still remains the same ethos and standards that were present all those years ago! A small school yes, but with even bigger aspirations.
