I like the school because it is an inviting and friendly place. I like how there’s lots of clubs. The teachers are funny and kind. I like seeing my friends. I like how there are lots of clubs to keep active.

Having taught at Argyle House School for over 30 years, I have witnessed many changes. These have included a broader curriculum and improved facilities yet at its heart it still remains the same ethos and standards that were present all those years ago! A small school yes, but with even bigger aspirations.

Mr G Thompson

Argyle House School is a friendly and academic environment where students learn, thrive and enjoy.

Mrs A Lynn

At Argyle House School there is a great sense of community. Teachers and pupils all know each other very well and the friendly and caring atmosphere makes the school a happy, enjoyable place to work.

Senior Teachers

The small size of the senior school enables staff to know each student's individual strengths and weaknesses. A major strength of the school is pastoral care as the staff get to know pupils from an early age in the primary department through to the end of the senior school.
