Argyle House students celebrate GCSE success
Argyle House School is delighted to be celebrating a strong set of GCSE results for the Class of 2026.

Our pupils have worked incredibly hard, this along with the support of their teachers has resulted in a superb 87% of students achieving at least five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above. This is an increase of more than 6% compared to previous performance. In addition, seven subjects achieved a 100% pass rate, including English Literature, while an impressive 96% of students secured Grade 4 or above in English Language.
We are incredibly proud of our students and the results they have achieved. What is particularly pleasing is the extent to which many pupils have exceeded expectations. GCSE outcomes are often measured against students’ predicted grades, and this year our students have demonstrated exceptional value-added progress.
Educating its pupil body holistically is intrinsic to AHS’s approach. Focusing not solely on academics but also the pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing, enables the pupils to give of their best and this is demonstrated by this year’s GCSE results.
