Making a splash at the Sunderland School Games!

Recently, our Year 5 and 6 and Year 7 and 8 pupils took to the pool to compete in the city-wide swimming gala — and they did us proud!

In the morning, our Year 5 and 6 teams gave it their all in the freestyle and medley relays. The girls just missed the final in their first race but powered through to a 6th place finish in the medley. The boys made waves, taking home silver in freestyle and bronze in the medley!

In the afternoon, our Year 7 and 8 girls showed real determination across a range of individual and team events, making every final they entered and finishing strong with a string of 4th and 5th place results.

We couldn’t be prouder of the resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown by all pupils. Well done, everyone!
